Anyone else like to binge watch Little House on the Prairie?? My 10yr old daughter and I are finishing up season 1, and we LOVE spending free time with the Ingalls.
It all began here in this book, Little House in the Big Woods, written by Laura Ingalls Wilder and based on her life growing up in the late 1800’s. We’re picking it up to read it again (for the third time) to my 7yr old son as our family read aloud. It’s a wonderful story particularly for ages 8-12!
Memoria Press is one of our favorite curriculum companies and they carry the book with a study guide for both student and teacher! If you like a Christ-centered, classical curriculum, I highly recommend checking them out.
If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend reading it aloud to your family, or setting up your young readers on their own! It truly brings humbleness and perspective to life in the 21st century.
Here’s a link to get a book for yourself:
What are your family’s favorite read alouds?

Hi Nikki!
My husband and I went to the museum in Minnesota a few years ago and it was awesome. I’d love to take our granddaughters there some day.
