Day 2 of homeschool 2020-2021 prep!! This morning I organized our filing system for the year. I bought 2 metal hanging file boxes from Target. Filled them with 36 labeled hanging files (the ugly green ones, cause theyāre the easiest to find) and put 18 in each box (kinda like 2 semesters). Took the kids color coded folders and wrote in matching sharpie each week, and popped them in. Colored folders come in 36 packs on Amazon.
I canāt stress enough the importance of the upfront preparing for your homeschool year!Ā It can seem daunting, time consuming and stressful…I totally get it. With 4 kids, all on different levels and interests, I sometimes feel like Iāll never get ahead.
BUT, once you can get the planning/prepping done, you can focus on just getting to do school with your kids rather than how much you have to prepare each day…because youāve already done it!
