I’m so glad you found your way to My Grace Filled Journal! MGFJ was born in July 2018.
I’ve loved writing since I was in grade school.Ā Fiction was a fun outlet of creativity and imagination.Ā As I grew older, my love for writing expanded into education (yes, essays :)) and journaling.Ā When I gave my life to Christ in 2012, my writing focused on copying scripture, Bible study and devotions.Ā Over the past few years, I went back to grad school earning my Masters in Theology, and I started this blog to push myself to open up my life to share things that might encourage you in part of yours.Ā If you have a love of homeschooling and writing, don’t give up!Ā Keep up your creativity, your love for others, and don’t put your pencil down! God has a plan for you!
I have been homeschooling my 4 kids since 2013.Ā We began in public school with my first son, and ended up pulling him out at Christmas that year.Ā We discovered early on that public school was not the route for our family.Ā We then attended a wonderful, Christ-centered, university model, classical school for 5 years.Ā This allowed our kids 2 days a week in a classroom setting, and 3 days a week of homeschooling.Ā We made amazing, life-long friends, and I received encouragement and confidence to homeschool my kids full-time.Ā We then moved our family across the country, and love homeschooling and doing life together each and every day.
Last bit about me – I’m a Christian, wife to Matt, mom to 4 of the sweetest kiddo’s you’ll ever meet, and thankful for God’s grace. God has given us all a life worth sharing.Ā My hope is that you will find something that relates to you in your season of life, and that you will be blessed richly with anything you take away!
“Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.Ā They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

Would you please be able to send me a copy of the bubble gum kisses pattern? I want to make this quilt so bad. I signed up for the sew sampler in July 2017 and missed it by one month. I would greatly appreciate your help.
